After a preparation phase the STACCATO EID, coordinated by Dr. Colin Clarke of the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT), has officially started on 1st January 2019. Within the next four years, the project partners will recruit and train 11 Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) whilst also creating and applying pioneering manufacturing process development approaches for biophamaceuticals. Through close collaboration between experts, STACCATO will create state of the art approaches specific for each biopharmaceutical cell type and /or manufacturing process.

The main activity of the next few months will be the recruitment of 11 ESRs and setting up everything for their start in the programme.
